John Phillips completed his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado School of Business in 1982. He then attended the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude.
In 1986 Mr. Phillips was admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of California and the United States District Court Southern District of California. He was then recruited from a vast pool of candidates to work at the Los Angeles District Attorneys office as a prosecuting deputy attorney. Mr. John Phillips was subsequently offered a prosecutor's position with the San Diego District Attorney's office, which he accepted. He had a very successful career as a prosecutor, during which he brought to trial very serious crimes.
Mr. Phillips has represented victims of crime and injuries for more than 19 years. His entire career has been dedicated to representing people who have suffered. He has taken more than 90 trials to verdict and, as a result, has developed strong persuasive skills. Over the course of his career Mr. Phillips has been involved in more than 10,000 cases, making him one of the more experienced personal injury lawyers representing victims in the Vista, Poway, and San Diego-area.
