John Phillips completed his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado School of Business in 1982. He then attended the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude.
In 1986 Mr. Phillips was admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of California and the United States District Court Southern District of California. He was then recruited from a vast pool of candidates to work at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office as a prosecuting deputy attorney. Mr. John Phillips was subsequently offered a prosecutor’s position with the San Diego District Attorney’s office, which he accepted. He had a very successful career as a prosecutor, during which he brought to trial very serious crimes.
Mr. Phillips has represented victims of crime and injuries for more than 19 years. His entire career has been dedicated to representing people who have suffered. He has taken more than 90 trials to verdict and, as a result, has developed strong persuasive skills. Over the course of his career Mr. Phillips has been involved in more than 10,000 cases, making him one of the more experienced personal injury lawyers representing victims in the Vista, Poway and the San Diego area. Mr. Pelly completed his undergraduate education at the prestigious California Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo. Continuing his education, Mr. Pelly graduated Cum Laude from San Diego’s California Western School of Law in 1997. Mr. Pelly was honored to be a member of the Dean’s list at California Western.
Admitted before the California Supreme Court, Mr. Pelly began his legal career as a litigation associate with the Law Offices of Greer & Associates before joining and becoming a partner with Phillips & Pelly. Since that time, Mr. Oliver Pelly has devoted numerous hours to continuing education each year in order to keep his litigation skill and knowledge current.
Mr. Pelly has personally handled thousands of personal injury claims to successful completion and has a strong emphasis in litigation skills and practice. Christine McCoy completed her undergraduate education at University of California Santa Cruz in 2001, where she was awarded College Honors and Honors in the Major. Christine McCoy received her law degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
Christine McCoy was admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and began her career in Southern California as a personal injury attorney. Prior to joining the Law Firm of Phillips and Pelly, she managed a solo practice for seven years representing victims of motor vehicle accidents. Christine McCoy has represented clients throughout San Diego, Orange, Riverside, Los Angeles, and San Francisco Counties.

Alecia Gordon completed her undergraduate education at San Diego State University, where she graduated Cum Laude. Continuing her education, Alecia Gordon graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Western School of Law. This honor is awarded only to the top of the class.
Alecia Gordon is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and has dedicated her career in Southern California as a personal injury attorney prior to joining the Law Firm of Phillips and Pelly, Alecia Gordon worked at the United States Attorney’s Office and Palomar Health. Alecia was with the Civil Division on the United States Attorney’s Office with an emphasis in medical malpractice and prosecuting health care fraud. Alecia was with the in-house legal department at Palomar Health with a focus on transactional matters and work with the Palomar Health compliance department.
Alecia Gordon dedicates her legal career to representing victims in automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, bus accidents and slip and fall accidents.
